In 2016, I had already begun the path to eating clean, but I wanted a brand I could trust to put on my skin. Although my previous skincare line wasn’t cutting it, I was skeptical to let another skincare line in. It’s nerve-racking! With continuous breakouts and a plummeting self-esteem, I decided to give Beautycounter a try.

As a woman-owned company and a mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone, these are products I can get behind! The Never List is banning over 1,800 questionable or harmful chemicals (the US bans 30), which Beautycounter promises to never put in their products. Not only is Beautcounter mindful of what makes up their products, but what goes into making their products as well; responsibly sourced and by 2025, sustainably packaged.

After using their products, I could never go back! My routine includes the Countermatch collection. Countermatch is complete with a coconut cleanser, toner, adaptive lotion, serum, sleeping cream and eye cream. My personal favorite and add-in is the Counter+ All Bright C Serum, made with turmeric and vitamin C, making your skin look healthy and bright!

Beautycounter aligns with my values and creates a sound mind, knowing the products going onto my skin (and my family) are clean and conflict-free.
